The footage, obtained by Seven News, was taken at the busy intersection of Leach Highway and Welshpool Road in Perth during peak-hour on Friday.

Reaction to the bold, yet illegal move was mixed online, with some viewers even praising the driver for their ingenuity.

‘I’m actually impressed he made it all the way through,’ one person said.

‘I wonder how much it was to get the ‘shrink mode’ installed,’ another said.
