Bizarre footage emerges of Man United star Diogo Dalot getting laser hair removal amid Red Devils’ alarming slump in form that has left Ruben Amorim fearing a relegation scrap

Man United star Diogo Dalot was bizarrely spotted getting laser hair removal in a video on social media, amid his side’s worrying form on the pitch.

A miserable 2-0 Monday night defeat at home by Newcastle leaves the Red Devils 14th in the Premier League and just seven points above 18th-placed Ipswich Town.

To make matters worse, questions are already being asked over Amorim’s tactical approach – with the side now having suffered four consecutive defeats.

Amid their struggling form, United defender Diogo Dalot took time out to get laser hair removal surgery and made sure to star in a video for the clinic’s TikTok.

In a bizarre initial video, Dalot was seen walking into the REM Laser Clinic – based in Bolton – before taking off his shirt and sitting down in the treatment room.

A member of staff then ran a precision laser across the chest of the Portugal international – who sat with a pair of safety glasses.

In a second video, Dalot was then quizzed on the procedure – while it was still ongoing – and provided some entertaining answers for fans.

Asked whether he’d recommend the service to any of his United team-mates, Dalot responded: ‘Yes, any of my teammates that like to do this kind of treatment, I’ve already recommended it to them’.

Then asked whether any of his teammates have ignored his suggestions, he said: ‘Probably! Those who are a bit lazy to drive to clinics and prefer to do it. Everyone is different but those who like it, I think they will come back’.

Dalot’s trip to the clinic comes amid worrying form for the Red Devils, with Ruben Amorim’s side having lost four games in a row in all competitions.

Meanwhile, on Christmas Eve, the United full-back helped serve food to homeless people at a shelter in the city.

The Portuguese defender, a £19 million signing from Porto, turned up unannounced with his partner at Lifeshare, a homeless charity in the city centre, surprising visitors with clothing and food donations.

They then rolled up their sleeves and spent Christmas Eve dishing out hot meals to more than 100 people at the charity.

Dalot, 25, said: ‘I have lived in Manchester for over six years now and I’m proud to call this city my home.

‘Unfortunately, homelessness is on the rise; as a family we want to raise awareness and also directly help people wherever we can.

‘We have started working with Lifeshare, an incredible charity that does so much to help vulnerable people.

‘The volunteers that I have met here today are really inspirational, they are true heroes and it was a pleasure to learn about their dedication.

‘I’m really grateful that I was able to spend time with them and play a small part in helping to deliver such vital work for the people that they support.’
