Aaron Rodgers has reportedly refused to have scans to determine the severity of several injuries he has been carrying during a nightmare New York Jets season.
The quarterback, 40, has struggled to reclaim his best form in his first full season in New York after last year’s debut campaign lasted for only four snaps before tearing his Achilles against Buffalo Bills.
Now, according to an article on NFL.Com, Rodgers has tried to cover up how hurt he has become during the season so that it doesn’t limit his playing time.
He has apparently refused to have scans and does not want to learn the full extent of any damage he is carrying.
The report adds that Rodgers hurt his hamstring in the September 29 loss to Denver Broncos but assured his team that it was no significant issue.
He also sustained a low ankle sprain in the London loss to Minnesota Vikings the following week.

The Jets are on a bye week this weekend, giving Rodgers a chance to rest and recover before the final six games of the season.
There is no suggestion, however, that Rodgers’ refusal to be scanned for injuries has anything to do with his interest in alternative medicines.
The quarterback has made no secret of his anti-vax views and has is open about his use of hallucinogenic drug ayahuasca in the offseason.
His team have it all to do in a bid to make the playoffs, with their record currently standing at 3-8.
Rodgers’ future at the Jets beyond this season is also in doubt after a campaign that has seen Robert Saleh fired as coach and Joe Douglas let go as GM.
A report on Saturday has said that Rodgers wants to keep playing in the NFL beyond this season but apparently now sees his future away from the Jets.
Earlier this week, reports said that Jets owner Johnson wanted to bench Rodgers after the dismal Week 4 home defeat by the Denver Broncos – where he apparently sustained the hamstring issue.
The signs all seem to be pointing to clean start for both parties once the season is over but the Jets have done all they can to surround Rodgers with the tools he wants for success.

They signed former teammates such as Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Malik Taylor.
If they cut ties, Rodgers would walk away without costing the Jets too much. Out of the $38million he would be owed for next season, $35m is a roster bonus that must be exercised before the 2025 season that is not guaranteed.
But for now, the two parties have to try and make it work.
Rodgers and the Jets are back in action next Sunday, hosting the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in a bid to keep their postseason hopes alive.
