Black and Decker sander left a PR officer’s feet ‘smooth as a baby’s bum’

Now that’s devotion! Stomach-churning moment wife gives her husband’s ‘Shrek-like’ feet a pedicure using a Black and Decker SANDER

  • Jodie Robinson, 28, had enough of her husband’s dry and cracked ‘ogre feet’
  • Taz, 47, had swapped his trainers for flip-flops after moving to the Canary Islands
  • Fed up of spending hours scrubbing his feet Jodie started using a power tool

Dry feet is a common ailment usually cured with a quick trip to the beauty salon.

But for this flip-flop-wearing public relations man a weekly buff with a Black and Decker power tool has turned out to be the only solution to his dry and cracked heels.

Jodie Robinson, 28, was driven mad by her husband Taz’s ‘ogre-like’ feet after the couple moved from Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, to the Canary Islands.

The 47-year-old was forced to swap his trainers for flip-flops which, after wearing them every day in the heat, left him with cracked heels.

Taz said: ‘I wear flip-flops to work because it’s really hot here and they make the skin on my feet hard.’

The only solution for his fed-up wife was a Black and Decker sander which now leaves his feet ‘smooth as a baby’s bum’.

He added: ‘Jodie said ‘let’s try this’ and went to get our Black and Decker sander.

‘I p***ed myself, I thought she was joking at first but she sanded my feet down then put E45 on them – my feet were as smooth as a baby’s bum.

‘It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than having pedicures, I’ll be having one every week now.’

Jodie 'is not bothered' by having to sand her husband's feet each week despite having to change her clothes and hoover when dry skin covers her living room

Mother-of-three Jodie had been using a normal skin scrubber for hours to try to rid her husband of his dry and cracked heels when she decided drastic action was needed.

She said: ‘His feet are like Shrek. The sander pedicures were my decision as I’d had enough of using a normal skin scrubber for hours, so one day I decided to sand them.

‘The worst bit is the dead skin I have to clean up after with hoover as it goes everywhere.’

Taz originally thought his wife was joking when she dug out the electric power tool.

But after his first treatment went smoothly he started looking forward to his weekly DIY pedicure.

He said: ‘It’s brilliant. I’ve had a few done now, I’m due one tomorrow. Jodie’s not bothered by it – she enjoys it.

‘But when she does it too hard it does burn and if she does my big toe it tickles.

‘There’s dead skin everywhere afterwards so she has to hoover and change her clothes, but she doesn’t mind.

‘My wife was covered in “skin dust” – not sawdust. It was everywhere.’

And, even worse, at the end of this disgusting video, Jodie needs to go and get more sandpaper to finish the job.
