BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Lisa spotted shopping in a Sydney Myer

Aussie K-pop fans freak out after seeing BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Lisa casually shopping for cosmetics at Myer in Sydney – as the girl group continue their Australian tour

South Korean girl group BLACKPINK are currently Down Under for the Australian leg of their world tour.

And on Friday, unsuspecting K-pop fans were shocked to find two members of the group casually shopping in a Sydney Myer. 

Roseanne ‘Rosé’ Park, 22, and Lisa Manoban, 22, were seen browsing cosmetics inside the busy department store.

The pair stopped at a Tom Ford booth, before Rosé was later seen entering Mecca. 

BLACKPINK have endorsed a number of major makeup brands in Asia, including Dior, Shiseido, Moonshot, and Kiss Me. 

The girl group will perform at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday night as part of their In Your Area world tour.

BLACKPINK are currently one of the biggest pop acts in the world, racking up over four billion views on YouTube.

Their most recent EP, Kill This Love, reached No. 24 on America’s Billboard 200 and No. 18 on Australia’s ARIA chart.

Although the group is South Korea, Rosé was born in New Zealand and raised in Melbourne.

She was still a teenager attending Canterbury Girls’ Secondary College when she was discovered after acing a local audition for Korean entertainment agency YG Entertainment.

The budding songstress then relocated to Seoul, where she took singing, dancing, and language lessons for several years before debuting with BLACKPINK in late 2016.

During the group’s Melbourne concert at Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, Rosé performed a cover of Skylar Grey’s Coming Home to commemorate her return to the city where she was raised.

The girls have been sharing photos from their trip to social media, with Rosé posting images of herself eating candy in a Melbourne hotel room to her 16 million followers.

Jennie Kim also posted a number of photos, including one of her doing the splits on a couch backstage at their concert, and another of her posing a Chanel blazer and matching earrings. 

Lisa also posted a selfie from Melbourne to her 20 million followers, leaving member Kim Jisoo as the only one of the four not to share any Aussie updates.
