‘Nefarious’ Bluey theory stuns fans as they speculate how the famous Heeler family can afford their lifestyle
Bluey fans have theorised the beloved Australian cattle dog family are actually part of an international crime ring.
According to TikTok and Reddit users in a resurfaced post, Bandit and Chilli lead lavish lifestyles which far outreach their combined modest salary.
Despite Bluey’s dad working as an archaeologist and her mum earning a living in Airport security, the parents still manage to afford a million dollar home in Paddington.
TikTok user Zach Mander broke down the wages Bandit and Chilli receive, revealing Australian archaeologists net about $71,000 while an airport security worker would only take home about $22 an hour.
‘There is no way a bank is approving them for mortgage on a million dollar home. Where did this money come from?’ Zach said.

He continued: ‘So we have a couple where one has intimate knowledge of how to bypass airport security and another is regularly digging up rare and expensive items.
‘I don’t want to slander a much-loved cartoon character but it seems to me that Bluey’s parents could be up to some nefarious activities.’
Fans on Reddit took the implication and ran with it, suggesting Bluey’s entire family were part of an international smuggling ring.

‘The answer is they are part of an international historic artefact smuggling ring,’ one Reddit user said.
‘Bandit, an archaeologist, has the ability to obtain rare and valuable archaeological finds, while Chilli, an expert in airport security, has the means to ensure that those finds make it past Australia’s infamously strict border security.
‘Thus, the answer to how they are able to afford such a nice house so close to the city is that they can’t. The house is a proceed from a criminal enterprise.’
Fans even went so far as to suggest Bluey’s uncles Stripe and Rad help sell the priceless artifacts Bandit finds on the black market.
