The post came just three days after his wife Morgan posted her own Christmas tribute to the couple’s toddler daughter.

In the post, the couple posed with their four children in a series of touching holiday images that were posted to social media on Tuesday.

In one of the images, the family also posed with a photograph of the girl that appeared on Miller’s skis.

‘Merry Christmas to our baby girl in heaven. We miss you so much!’ wrote Morgan on Instagram.

‘2018 has been a year full of overwhelming sadness and overwhelming joy. We have spent half of the year mourning and attempting to heal the loss of our angel which feels like an impossible battle all while celebrating the birth of our son.’

She continued: ‘Seeking normalcy for our children has been our driving force forward. Normally I would be looking forward to a “fresh beginning” in 2019 but there is no more starting fresh after the loss of a child.

‘So here’s to a healthy 2019 full of personal growth and creating many memories with my babies, full of smiles and laughs. Wishing everyone a special holiday season surrounded by loved ones.’

Morgan has described visiting her neighbor’s home with their children in June when she realized that daughter Emmy was missing.

She saw a sliver of light coming from the door leading to the backyard and said her ‘heart sank.’ She opened the door and saw her child floating in the pool.

Their child died the next day at a hospital. Miller said her brain went too long without oxygen.

Miller said talking about her death helps them to heal and maybe helps prevent it from happening to other parents.
