A body has been found in a burnt-out car following a grass fire at a vacant plot of land.
The body was discovered inside the vehicle after it was found at Johnson Street, in Bundaberg, around 370 kilometres north of Brisbane on Tuesday about 8:20pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a grass fire.

A spokesperson from Queensland police said the incident is being treat as suspicious after car was found near the area
‘Officers found a vehicle was also alight nearby and a deceased person was located inside the car,’ the spokesperson said.
‘A crime scene was declared and investigations into the incident are underway’.
