Bondi crash: Three vehicles including a Ferrari collide on Bondi Road injuring motorcyclist

Authorities have warned of ‘heavy’ traffic and delays along one of Bondi’s busiest roads after a multi-vehicle crash, believed to have involved a ferrari, left one injured.

Bondi Road in Bondi was sent into a scramble on Sunday after ambulance crews flocked to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash.

A luxury ferrari is believed to have been involved.

Ambulance crews treated a motorbike rider for leg injuries at the scene.

In a statement, Traffic NSW said Bondi Rd was closed between Dudley and Glen streets, with motorists urged to avoid the area due to heavy traffic congestion.

‘Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time as traffic in the area is heavy,’ the statement reads.

Motorists travelling westbound are encouraged to use Sandgate St, Fletcher St and Denham St to avoid the area, while Denham St, Francis St and Campbell Pde are being suggested for eastbound travellers.

Public transport including the 333 and 380 bus routes have been impacted by the accident and are diverting from the area.

Any motorists caught up in the crash zone are urged to use caution and follow the directions of onsite emergency and traffic crews.
