Bondi room one metre wide for $200 per week

If you like paying a lot of money to live in a tiny space, apply within.

A Sydney woman has advertised a ‘room’ barley one metre wide in her Bondi apartment for $200 per week.

Images of the ‘room’ were posted to Facebook last week, along with an accompanying post.

‘Me and my friend are renting a small room in our apartment in Bondi… its not to share,’ the post reads.

And understandably- judging from the picture, it would be a struggle to fit a second person in the so-called room.

‘The person would have lots of space in common areas, a wardrobe near the bathroom and a big box for shoes near the room.’

In the space sits a lamp, small rug and a chair, leaving no room for any other furniture.

Understandably the post was slammed on Facebook.

‘Please tell me this is a joke,’ one person wrote.

‘$200 is pretty steep for a built in wardrobe,’ another said.

One Facebook surer wrote: ‘This room is meant for sleeping or hanging clothes by the window, not for sleeping.’

The post has since been removed.
