Borat and his teenage daughter Tutar force Jimmy Kimmel to strip down to his underwear for a COVID-19 exam… before they demand chat show host make her his second wife
Jimmy Kimmel barely got to ask a single question on his chat show on Tuesday night, as he welcomed Borat [played by Sacha Baron Cohen] to the studio.
The comedy character was too obsessed with COVID-19 precautions to plug his new film – Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan – which is released this month.
He entered the studio spraying disinfectant before whipping out a magnifying glass to hunt down the ‘virus’ and thwacking thin air with a frying pan.
He then insisted host Jimmy be examined for COVID-19, asking him a series of questions including whether he had recently consumed any ‘unpasteurized children’s blood’, being that he is a ‘member of the Hollywood elite’.
He also asked if Jimmy could list the names of the last 12 prostitutes he had been with and state if any of them were female, and questioned whether he had been around any Jewish people for a period of 15 minutes.
‘All of our writers and none of our camera guys are Jews,’ was Jimmy’s witty reply to this.
He then brought on his teenage ‘daughter’ Tutar [played by Irina Nowak] onto the set, who strolled in carrying a framed photo of Jimmy interviewing Jennifer Aniston.
‘She’s a good thief!’ Borat insisted.
He demanded Jimmy undergo a physical exam, producing a long stick with a thermometer on the end, insisting it would need to be placed in Jimmy’s backside.
‘It doesn’t look clean!’ Jimmy noted. ‘It’s fine, I had it in mine earlier!’ came Borat’s reply.
After avoiding any activity with the thermometer stick, Jimmy was asked to deposit a semen sample and then have his private parts examined with another stick, ‘to see if they were green’.
At this point Tutar demanded Jimmy take his trousers off and proposed he marry her.
‘I am already married!’ Jimmy insisted, to which Borat asked ‘how many wives do you have?’
In an effort to get the trousers off, Borat removed his own – revealing his signature thong underneath – and suggested they swap.
Jimmy then stripped down to his underwear, hid behind his chair, and wrapped up the attempt at an interview.
or the host to give her his pants, resulting in a hilarious exchange between Kimmel and the father-daughter duo. Borat swiftly took off his pants, revealing his signature thong (and some welcomed pixelation) as he urged Kimmel to trade tousers. Eventually taking his own pants off, the host hid behind his chair as Borat and his daughter gleefully shook their newly acquired American souvenir.
‘s Borat stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss his new film Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, the Jason Woliner-directed sequel to the 2006 mockumentary. But in typical Borat fashion, things did not go at all as planned.
‘He is a coward, the virus is a coward!’ Borat screamed as he slammed the pan on various surfaces, all while host Kimmel repeatedly explained that the method wouldn’t work.
Prior to the stealth sequel to his 2006 mockumentary being released this year, Cohen (also known for playing cinematic characters like Ali G and Bruno) had gone quiet in the pranks department since his 2018 Showtime series Who Is America?
That political satire series saw Cohen tackle American identity by duping politicians and pundits, including Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for Donald Trump’s 2016 U.S. presidential run, former Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, former Alabama Rep. Jason Spencer (who resigned after his controversial appearance), former California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher and former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney.
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm debuts on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 23.
