Bored England WAGs Georgina Irwin and Megan Davison stifle yawns and check their phones

England fans celebrated as the team scored three superb goals against Wales in the second half of the game.

But their WAGs were clearly feeling the boredom as they yawned and checked their phones during the crunch World Cup match on Tuesday.

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan Davison was distracted by her phone as she sat in the stands.

And Aaron Ramsdale’s fiancée Georgia Irwin was definitely not caught up in the excitement as she stifled several yawns during the game.

Other players partners were also snapped looking bored as Jack Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood was also glued to her screen.

It’s not the first time the WAGs have struggled to stay awake during England games, as they also were seen looking less than enthused during England’s 0-0 match with the US.

Megan, 26, once again also felt the time dragging by as she watched her partner have a quiet night – both teams managing hardly any shots on goal during the game.

Model Anna Modler, 24, tried to hide her tiredness as fiancé Eric Dier sat on the bench during the match as England struggled to make an impact.

Fullback Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner, also saw little to get excited about as England ground their way to the end of the game.

A turgid performance from a lackluster England side saw the Lions drop points in a game most expected them to win against an energetic US team in Qatar.

The England players’ partners and families shared their excitement ahead of the match on social media beforehand, but were left stifling yawns for 90 minutes as they watched the disappointing game.

As the action began, England had already scored a victory at kick-off with its fans outnumbering the Wales supporters by three to one inside the 42.000-seater Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions have won the last six matches against their rivals, but Rob Page’s men, led by talisman Gareth Bale, need their first win over England since 1984 and other results to go their way.

The two home nations meet for their final group B fixture, with hordes of fans having made the trip and millions more watching back home.

Chants between the two sets of fans even extended to the metro, where one Canadian passenger said his country had banter with the US, ‘but not like this’.

At an investiture ceremony, the King told former Sunderland star Gary Bennett he ‘just wanted a good game of football’ when asked who he would be supporting.

Downing Street said Rishi Sunak would be supporting England, but hoped both teams could advance ‘as far as possible’ in the competition.

The Three Lions currently top the group and need just a point to guarantee their progress to the knockout stages, while Wales must win and hope for a favourable result between Iran and the USA.
