Boston woman, 23, who disappeared is seen in photos with suspect who is now in custody

A Boston woman who disappeared after being kicked out of a bar has been found alive and the man who was seen with his armed wrapped around her waist leading her out of a subway station is now in custody, DailyMail.com can disclose.

Olivia Ambrose was found on Tuesday following her Saturday night disappearance after a night out at Hennessey’s bar on Union Street.

Police said she is being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and a male suspect is custody.

The suspect is the same man seen in photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com who led an intoxicated Ambrose out a subway station after she was approached by him and another man outside of the bar on Saturday night.

Sources said the male in custody has tentatively been identified as an ex-con who has a prior charge of date rape and kidnapping who also has a relative in Charlestown, but that the identity has not been confirmed.

Police were originally hunting for two men in connection with Ambrose’s disappearance, as another photo obtained by DailyMail.com shows the male in custody being accompanied by a second man dressed in a black sweater.

The two were observed asking Ambrose to walk with them in the area of Congress and State Streets near Boston’s City Hall.

One of the men appears to walk ahead while the second man, who is in custody, ‘places his arm around Ambrose and directs her toward the State Street MBTA station.’

Twenty minutes later that same man still has his arm wrapped around the petite, 5-foot-2 blue-eyed brunette as they exit at the Bunker Hill Community MBTA station, Boston police officials said. At that time the second man is no longer seen.

Then at 12:13am, Ambrose and the suspect are picked up by surveillance video walking toward Bartlett Street in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston.

Ambrose’s cell phone then pinged in the notorious Bunker Hill Housing Development.

Charlestown is over a mile away from the Irish pub where Ambrose was last seen on Saturday night.

Police said Olivia had left the bar with another man but they determined that he was not connected with her disappearance after he was put in a cab by his friends.

Ambrose is a college graduate who moved to Jamaica Plain a week ago, according to her family.

She was out with her twin sister Francesca and a large group of friends.

Her family said she always calls and texts and had an appointment Monday that she missed which was unusual.

While she was still missing Heather said: ‘She was supposed to meet with her workmates on Sunday and then she had a doctor’s appointment this morning, and she hasn’t show up for any of those.’

The Ambrose family set up an information post inside Hennessy’s and have been sharing Olivia’s picture and other information on social media.

‘There is part of me that feels like it’s not real, so it’s okay, and there is part of me that just doesn’t want to go to any bad place.

‘I don’t think anybody can really imagine until they go through it. We just want her home, that’s all.’

Her father Michael had been handing out missing person posters in a bid to locate her.

Olivia is described as 5’2′ tall, with blue eyes and curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red corduroy dress under a long white and grey coat, and Doc Martens.

Her parents had also been searching the area in the hope of finding her whereabouts.

They added: ‘It’s your worst nightmare. I’m trying to stay busy, and I’m trying to find her.’
