A woman has shocked two doctors by revealing that she has had 13 plastic surgeries in the past year — and she is looking for more.
In a preview episode for Thursday night’s episode of the E! reality series Botched, a woman named Tiffany admits during her consultation with Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif that she had her first set of surgeries just four or five months after she and her husband of 10 years broke up.
‘I’ve had 13 surgeries,’ she tells the doctors. ‘I was so pretty before, but I am just more elegant now.’
Say what? Tiffany admits to having 13 plastic surgeries in one year on Thursday night’s episode of the E! reality show Botched
Feeling good: ‘I was so pretty before, but I am just more elegant now,’ she tells Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow
Seriously? Dr. Nassif (left) and Dr. Dubrow (right) are both visibly stunned by the revelation
The doctors were immediately concerned about the time frame of her surgeries, and Dr. Dubrow immediately asks: ‘Were you put under anesthesia 13 times in the last year?’
‘No, three,’ Tiffany says slyly, which alerts the doctors to the fact that she has had multiple operations at one.
Dr. Nassif explains to the camera that in plastic surgery they sometimes do multiple procedures at once.
‘They may be small, but you can have up to five or six procedures at one time as long as it’s safe,’ he adds.
Tiffany is all smiles during the consultation, and after catching a glimpse of the look of concern on Dr. Nassif’s face, she asks him why he looks ‘so serious’.
‘I am pondering this conversation for a minute,’ he admits. ‘I am trying to figure out why would you want to do that much of a transformation that quick.’
Quick turnaround: After Dr. Dubrow asks if she was put under anesthesia 13 times, Tiffany explains it was only three because she has multiple operations at once
What’s the rush? Dr. Nassif admits that he doesn’t understand why she would opt to undergo such a dramatic transformation so quickly
The real reason? Dr. Dubrow eventually gets Tiffany to reveal that she started getting plastic surgery four or five months after she and her husband of 10 years split
Dr. Dubrow has a hunch that it has something to do with her relationship status, and he jumps in to ask if she is married.
‘No. I was married for like 10 years, but, no, I am single,’ she says.
The doctor responds by asking the next logical question: ‘How long after you broke up did you start having these surgeries.’
Tiffany, unknowingly, raises even more concern when she admits that she started getting surgery just four or five months after she and her husband of a decade split.
‘It is very common for people after a traumatic event or a breakup to come in and want to have plastic surgery,’ Dr. Dubrow tells the camera.
‘But you have to be very careful of those individuals, that they are doing it for the right reasons, and they don’t have unrealistic expectations,’ he adds. ‘That can be a real red flag.’
