Eight varieties of milk sold in Victoria have been recalled amid fears they may contain cleaning solution.
Lactalis Australia is recalling the milk products which have been available for sale in Coles, Woolworths, IGA and other retailers as they may contain ‘ an amount of food grade dairy cleaning solution’.
An alert issued by Food Standards Australia New Zealand said the company behind the milk brands is conducting the recall.

Lactalis Australia Pty Ltd owns Coles brand milk, REV, Pauls and PhysiCAL.
Customers are being warned to look out for a discolouration in the milk and an off taste in the flavour.
‘The milk products may have a yellowish colouring and/or metallis chemical taste,’ the company said in a statement on Thursday night.
Anyone concerned about their health are being told to seek medical advice immediately.
The recalled products include Coles brand full cream, low fat and skim milk as well as Pauls full cream and Smarter milk.
REV and PhysiCAL low fat and skim milk one litre bottles are also included in the recall.
Customers are being advised to return the bottles of milk to the place of purchase for a full refund.
