A young woman has been sentenced to three-months jail time for drinking a can of soft drink inside a supermarket without paying for it.
The 29-year-old Aboriginal woman pleaded guilty to larceny and trespass offences on Wednesday.
She was arrested on Monday November 20 after allegedly consuming a drink at Spar Supermarket in Bourke, in north-west NSW.

The woman had not paid for the soft drink, The Western Herald reported.
Police said she had previously been banned from the store.
The 29-year-old was charged with larceny and trespassing.
She appeared at Bourke Local Court on Wednesday.
