Urgent search launched for 10-year-old boy who vanished without a trace outside his school in Sydney: Police concerned about his welfare

An urgent search has been launched for a missing boy in Sydney. 

Liam Walsh, aged 10, was last seen outside a school on Francis Street, Strathfield, on Wednesday morning at about8.30am. 

When he could not be found, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for Liam’s welfare due to his age.

Liam is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, grey jacket, grey shorts, grey socks and black shoes.

Liam is known to frequent the Homebush and Airey Park areas.
