Overall, the film scored numerous nods on Tuesday.

The Netflix film received seven Academy Awards nominations – Best Picture, Best Actor for Cooper, Best Actress for Carey Mulligan, Achievement In Sound, Cinematography, Makeup and Hairstyling, and Original Screenplay.

Cooper directed and starred in Maestro, the critically-acclaimed biopic about composer Leonard Bernstein.

The latest snub comes six years after he was similarly passed over for a directing nod for 2018’s A Star Is Born.

There were several other notable snubs for this year’s Oscars. Among them was Leonardo DiCaprio, who was not recognized for his acting on Killers Of The Flower Moon.

Penelope Cruz was also not singled out for her very strong performance as Laura in Ferrari.

And The Color Purple did not land in the Best Picture category which went to American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things and The Zone of Interest.

Bradley has flown to London with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
