ABC News correspondent Aaron Katersky tweeted at 3.30pm that the 73-year-old former mayor of New York City was being driven in his Cadillac XTS when he opened the door and clipped the pedicab.
The unnamed bicyclist had no passengers at the time and escaped unharmed.
