A bride-to-be embarked on a dramatic pre-wedding diet, dropping a staggering 6 stone and six dress sizes in less than a year.
Nicole Fielding, 23, from Pontnewynydd, Cwmbran, got engaged to partner Matthew when she tipped the scales at 15 stone 8 lbs.
But after suffering severe back pain and wearing size 20 clothing, Nicole decided to slim down before tying the knot, and within ten months squeezed into a slim size 8 dress on her wedding day in September.
The bride, who now weighs 9 stone 7 lbs, even had to replace the original dress she had bought when she was at her heaviest.

Nicole, who admits she was lazy with food, swapped ordering takeaways for a healthy diet of planned meals and regular exercise.
She explained: ‘I decided to buy a second dress as my figure had changed so much and my original dress was beyond alterations.
‘I could not have imagined wearing the dress I chose six stone ago.’
Nicole says she used to feel defeated and hated looking at her body in the mirror.
The mother-of-one hated cooking – so made any excuse to order a takeaway and after having her son Archie in March 2016 decided to kickstart her weight loss.
But now she prepares meals for the week, enjoys trying out new recipes and regularly runs up to eight kilometres a week.

The mother-of-one is thrilled with how she looks and has a new lease of life. She is hoping to start her own weight loss group to help others
Her weight-loss journey began when she joined a Slimming World group in May last year and said ‘I do’ in September this year.
Nicole said: ‘My self-confidence was extremely low but after having a little boy Archie in March 2016 I knew it was time to make a change.
‘Slimming World for me has been life changing and I certainly could not have gotten this far on my own without the support of my consultant and other group members.’
She is now set to launch her own Slimming World club in the new year.
