A bride-to-be reveals her fiancé proposed by tattooing their cat and the funny words ‘will you marry meow?’ on his bottom in Curvy Brides Boutique.
In tonight’s episode of the TLC show, bohemian bride-to-be Lindsey, 30, from Hertfordshire, arrives at the boutique with her best friend and chief bridesmaid Jackie in search of her perfect dream dress for her woodland wedding to fiancé Dustin.
Excited and ready to crack on with trying on some dresses, Lindsey is prompted by fashion experts Jo and Al to tell them a little bit about her husband-to-be.
In doing so, Lindsey, who comes in wearing a dress covered in cats, cannot resist filling the duo in on her fiancé’s rather unusual proposal.
‘Dustin actually got a tattoo on his bum of our cat with ‘will you marry meow?’ written underneath,’ she explains.

While Jo is amused by the unusual way in which Dustin popped the question, she isn’t impressed: Jo replies: ‘Having a tattoo on your butt of a cat as a marriage proposal? Whoa, whoa, whoa, I’m too old for all this’

Amused by the unromantic gesture, Jo replies: ‘Having a tattoo on your butt of a cat as a marriage proposal? Whoa, whoa, whoa, I’m too old for all this.’
And when it comes to finding the gown for her big day, Lindsey knows exactly what she does and doesn’t want.
‘I definitely don’t want white,’ she says. ‘I don’t want to look like a princess with all the layers and the big ballgown. I like floaty. I’d like to look a bit like a fairy.’
Jackie agrees: ‘She’s got a vision, she’s got a definite vision and there’s no steering away from it at all.’

With Lindsey’s mind set, Al is left feeling excited: ‘Lindsey, the red hair, this fabulous cat dress, she is oozing personality and style!’
As the bride begins trying on gowns, Al is delighted by how confident she is in herself and with her body, and broaches the subject of body confidence to her.
‘It’s taken a while, a long time actually, for me to feel not really bothered about what people think,’ Lindsey says. ‘Some things still knock you though.’
‘Somebody at work just out-and-out asked me what it was like to be in a mixed-weight relationship!’
Taken aback by Lindsey’s story, Al can’t help but gasp: ‘I can honestly say, in all of my 42 years, that I have never heard that comment before.’
