A bride-to-be has taken to Facebook to rant about her maid of honour’s baby ‘crashing ‘the wedding of her dreams. 

The bride and her now fiancé have decided on a child-free reception despite her maid of honour needing to feed her four-month-old baby throughout the day. 

The two women agreed to the wedding arrangements before the child-free factor was announced but due to the baby still breastfeeding the decision is being questioned.   

‘My fiancé and I have made the decision to have a child free wedding (with the exception of a flower girl and page boy),’ she wrote.

‘I’m really wanting a child free reception and am just annoyed that my wishes aren’t being respected like we had agreed in the beginning. Any advice on how to tell her that I’m sorry but I really am wanting a child free reception?’

The bride and her maid of honour came to an agreement that the baby will be allowed at the wedding but only for the morning and afternoon ceremony.

As per the agreement, the maid of honour begun training her baby to feed from a bottle so that the father can feed the four-month-old at the wedding. 

Although the she has just told the bride that bottle-feeding isn’t going well after many attempts and has asked if the baby can come to the reception to continue normal feeds. 

The bride who desperately wants a child-free reception, apart from her flower girl and page boy, feels frustrated that her wedding isn’t going to plan. 

‘Any advice on how to tell [my MoH] that I’m sorry but I am really wanting a child free reception without hurting her feelings,’ the bride wrote.

Since sharing her child-free wedding wish on Facebook thousands have shared their thoughts on the situation.

‘This is your day, that baby was born four months ago! He had his day! And he’ll have his day again every single year for the rest of his life, this is your wedding,’ another wrote.

‘It is your day and you can be selfish, but your being unreasonable! If it were me I wouldn’t even go, my child comes first than any wedding! Sorry not sorry,’ another wrote.
