Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley is a wonder in white at Netflix dinner celebrating South Asian culture

Bridgerton star Simone Ashley helped promote and celebrate Asian culture with a special Netflix dinner… where she also revealed her character’s fate for Season 3.

The 27-year-old Surrey UK native, who plays Viscountess Kate Bridgerton, stunned in white while hosting the event at Arth Bar & Kitchen Wednesday in Culver City.

She also confirmed to Deadline that she will return for Season 3, along with her on-screen husband Viscount Anthony (Jonathan Bailey).

Ashley stepped out with an elegant and pristine white dress with a midriff cutout and a long slit up the right leg.

The actress, who is of Sri Lankan descent, accessorized with an ornate diamond necklace and small diamond hoop earrings. 

She completed her look with a set of shiny silver pumps as she hit the red carpet and posed with guests.

It’s been just five days since the eight-episode Season 2 of Bridgerton debuted, and fans are already looking forward to Season 3.

Netflix already renewed the show for both a third and fourth season last April, with Ashley confirming at the event that both Kate and Anthony will return.

She also praised new showrunner Jess Brownell, who will be at the helm for both the third and fourth seasons, calling her ‘amazing.’

‘In Season 2, there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they find each other towards the end. I think everything is just starting,’ Ashley teased.

‘I’d like to see Kate just let go a bit more and play more in Season 3 and kind of swim in that circle of love together. I think they both deserve it.”
