Brighton have made a £16.8million bid for Nordsjaelland striker Conrad Harder.

The 19-year-old has also received an offer from Sporting Lisbon.

Harder has featured in six Danish Superliga matches so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

In total, he has netted nine goals in 40 appearances for Nordsjaelland since making his first-team debut at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Meanwhile, Brighton are unlikely to allow midfielder Billy Gilmour to join Napoli following Matt O’Riley’s injury.

But they have loaned out Malick Yalcouye to Austrian club Sturm Graz.

Forward Ibrahim Osman has also departed on loan for Feyenoord in the Netherlands, while Jeremy Sarmiento is joining Burnley for the season.

The Turf Moor club, who sold striker Wout Weghorst to Ajax on Thursday for an undisclosed fee, have added Stoke captain Josh Laurent for £1m and had two bids rejected for Plymouth Argyle forward Morgan Whittaker.
