- Contrary to reports, Liverpool aren’t in for the Feyenoord defensive midfielder
Brighton have had a £25m bid accepted for Feyenoord defensive midfielder Mats Wieffer, 24.
The Seagulls, who had a £30m bid rejected for Leeds United forward Georginio Rutter, have also offered £7m plus add-ons for Gothenburg midfielder Malick Yalcouye, 18.
Liverpool are not in for Wieffer as they believe they have enough cover – despite Dutch reports.
Wieffer joined Feyenoord in 2022 having previously played for FC Twente and Excelsior.
He has been capped nine times by the Netherlands and has scored once.
