The possum happily munches away until it realises it’s being filmed by local resident Amanda Mac.
One man in the video can be heard saying: ‘He’s having a bloody feed and a half, I tell you.’

‘From time to time our stores encounter visits from wildlife, including possums.
‘Typically they leave on their own accord, however in situations where the safety of our customers and team or the animal may be compromised we contact the relevant authority to safely remove the animal from the store,’ the spokesperson said.
Queensland Museum collection manager Heather Janetzki said possums, who are normally nocturnal, will come out during the day if they need water.
‘He’s gone for lettuce… that’s a really good water source if there’s no free water around the place,’ she told ABC News.
