A 24-year-old man has died after being shot in the chest at a Brisbane apartment complex overnight.
The man was gunned down at a unit block in Petrie, north of the city, just after midnight, Queensland police said.
He was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition but later died, officers said.
Detectives have begun a homicide investigation and are trying to track down anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the murder.
