A Brisbane man has revealed a shocking family betrayal — admitting that the son he thought was his, turns out to be his half-brother.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, phoned in to Nova’s Ben, Liam and Belle on Wednesday when the hosts were discussing cheating stories with listeners.
The man revealed that he discovered that his long-time partner had been cheating on him with a very close relative.
‘I found out that my ex-partner of four years, or just about four years, was having an affair with my father,’ he told radio hosts Ben Jackson, Liam Stapleton and Belle Jackson.
The revelation clearly shocked the radio trio, with Liam replying with an awkward: ‘That’s not good.’
It only went downhill from there, with the caller revealing that the son he thought belonged to him was actually his father’s when asked by Ben how he discovered the shocking family betrayal.
‘My father and ex-partner decided to open their mouth to my sister, and my sister went and spoke to my mum, and my mum told me,’ he said.
‘And to make it worse, you know, just to chuck on top, lie to a person about a five year old little boy, saying it’s theirs when it’s not.

Even more shocked by the second revelation, Ben tried to come to terms with the enormity of the situation and asked the anonymous caller to clarify.
‘Hang on, so you’re telling me you had a kid with this woman and she is now with your dad and they’re telling the kid that your dad is his dad?’
The caller set the record straight, reiterating that the child was actually his half brother.

Over shocked ‘Oh my Gods’ Belle added: ‘Yeah, the kid’s not actually his dad’s kid but he raised his son.’
It appeared that the anonymous caller had somewhat come to terms with the huge betrayal after the hosts revealed that his admission had netted him a $100 gift voucher to McDonald’s
‘Well anonymous, you have got yourself $100 of McDonald’s on us,’ Ben told the caller.
‘Sweet,’ came the caller’s enthusiastic reply.
Belle then hit back with: ‘Who needs kids when you have Maccas,’ before Ben also chimed in.
‘It’s devastating what happened to you but you seemed pretty genuinely stoked about having a Maccas dinner tonight as you should. Good on you.’
