The 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games have been trolled by Aussies, with an unofficial logo being shared on social media featuring some very questionable Queensland icons.

Brisbane is set to stage the leading international sporting event in eight years’ time and designers have been hard at work on coming up with iconic emblems for the Games.

However, a unofficial logo recently sent the internet into a spin with many Aussies believing it was real.

The logo features a map of Australia and includes a picture of an Ibis, a sausage and a crocodile seemingly meant to represent the Brisbane River.

Fans online slammed the design, with one TikTok user’s reaction to it going viral.

‘If you thought the Paris Olympic Games were a flop, look at Brisbane’s logo that they just announced for the 2032 Olympic Games,’ said content creator Sebbylaz to his 4.4 million followers.

‘Oh my god! Have you ever seen anything more Australian?

‘The fact that we are fully claiming our brown dirty river is crazy. The athletes were scared to swim in the Siene (river)… babes, you’ve got another thing coming.

‘They were scared to catch a little areola disease in the Siene, you’re not going to have time to catch anything because a bull shark is going to kill you first.

‘This is going to be the first Olympic Games where we actually win because everybody is going to be too terrified to come down to Australia and compete.

‘The fact that they have a Bunning’s snag and a bin chicken (Ibis) is actually kind of iconic. I respect that. The only thing missing from this is the C-word – I’m surprised it’s not slapped in the middle there.’

The viral video prompted more than a thousand responses, with many people also astonished by the design.

‘That’s a lot to process,’ replied one fan.

‘Did Raygun design this,’ joked another.

‘Surviving Australia should be an Olympic game on it’s own,’ said a third.

Others approved of the concept, saying it suited the nation.

‘The bin chicken inclusion is fire!’ said one user.

‘Honestly I kinda love this logo for Australia,’ commented another.

‘I think it’s cute, it’s nostalgic, it’s vintage, it’s demure,’ posted a third.
