Bristol Palin gets in blowout fight with husband over PTSD on Teen Mom OG debut

Bristol Palin got into a verbal fight with her husband Dakota Meyer on Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG.

Bristol eloped with 29-year-old Dakota in 2016. They split earlier this year, after less than two years of marriage and just nine months after having their second child together, daughter Atlee Bay.

And Dakota suffers PTSD from his time in the armed forces which has caused numerous fights among the estranged couple as Bristol said ‘it’s hard on our marriage’ and she’s tired of being the ‘punching bag’.

Bristol described their engagement as beginning with a mall-bought ring. They then rushed to a golf course where an officiant signed a paper.

‘We didn’t say vows or anything like that…we didn’t even take one picture of the day,’ admitted the 27-year-old.

The disintegration of their short marriage was also documented on the MTV show.

Bristol was 17 and pregnant with her first child Tripp when her mother was running for VP.

She traveled to Arizona to meet her family for her sister’s bachelorette party.

‘I had fun at that biker bar,’ said Bristol’s mother, the former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin.

‘I’m really fun,’ added the 54-year-old politician.

Bristol confessed that she was struggling to make friends in Texas.

‘I’m so shy and awkward, I do not have friends,’ she said.

‘My life is frickin’ not perfect at all, my life stinks up and down, sideways, whatever,’ she added.

Dakota was suffering from severe PTSD after joining the military at 17-years-old.

‘Joining, I could never knew what I was getting myself into,’ he said.

‘We got in that big gun fight, and everybody with me was dead,’ he recalled sadly.

‘When I first came home…train wreck…that’s probably an understatement,’ added Dakota, who was so rattled when he first returned from Afghanistan that he’d sleep with a pistol on his chest.

‘Anxiety got me real bad,’ he said.

‘His PTSD is really affecting our marriage,’ Bristol told her family.

Back in Austin Dakota seemed ‘quiet and agitated.’

‘My anxiety has been going nuts, it’s been crushing me, I’ve been having nightmares, I’ve tried to tell you over and over,’ he said.

‘Don’t act like you don’t know what’s wrong,’ he raged.

Bristol said that he made comments that insinuated she was ‘a crappy mom.’

‘I don’t want to raise my kids to think that this is what a marriage looks like.’

‘I’m a punching bag for everything that he goes through internally,’ she complained while Dakota said he was only looking for ‘support’ from his wife.

The show titled ‘Welcome to the Family’ had opened in Tennessee with newbie Maci Bookout McKinney, her husband Taylor and the kids Jayde, Bentley and Maverick.

Coparenting with Bentley’s dad Ryan was causing issues.

‘Now I only communicate with his mom,’ said Maci, 27.

Ryan had called Taylor ‘a 30-year-old who still needs his a*s wiped.’

He then threatened to ‘put a bullet’ in his head.

‘He definitely owns guns,’ frowned Maci, who decided to get an Order of Protection.

If Ryan violated the order he would go straight to jail.

‘It’s like, if you screw this up there are no other chances,’ warned Maci.

Catelynn Lowell Baltierra was still in Arizona at a rehab facility in Arizona, for people with depression and anxiety.

‘Things got really bad after my miscarriage,’ said the 26-year-old.

Her husband Tyler Baltierra was left alone with the kids.

‘It’s hard not to become bitter,’ admitted Tyler, who told his therapist that he hadn’t been unhappy in the marriage for ‘a couple of years.’

Catelynn’s three-year-old daughter NovaLee Reign was missing her mom.

‘Don’t leave me!’ She begged, as Catelynn was about to sign off from a video call.

‘I’m losing empathy and sympathy,’ said Tyler, who was struggling to manage on his own.

Amber Portwood had given birth to her baby son James.

‘It only took five pushes to get him out,’ said the 28-year-old.

Her new boyfriend Andrew Glennon was smitten.

‘Every day is tremendous with her,’ he said.

Amber, who is now sober, felt the same.

‘Andrew saved everything,’ she said.

Teen Mom newbie Cheyenne Floyd was coping with her daughter Ryder, her baby daddy and a new boyfriend.

‘When I found out I was pregnant I didn’t know who the father was,’ said Cheyenne, who fell pregnant by her fellow MTV star Cory Wharton when she had a different boyfriend.

She is now dating Zach, a family friend who had just moved in with her and her sister.

At first Cory thought they could make their blended family work.

‘But I hate the fact that he lives with her,’ he admitted.

‘Why don’t you just be single?’ He blurted out later.

‘She still has feelings for me and she doesn’t know how to cope with that,’ he continued.

Teen Mom OG continues next week on MTV.
