Bristol Palin’s ex-husband Dakota Meyer has opened up on Instagram about his recent divorce and offered relationship advice to his followers, telling them to know when ‘enough is enough’.
The couple, who share two daughters together, only finalized their divorce recently after Meyer filed papers five months ago to terminate their two-year marriage.
In an Instagram Q&A on Monday night, Meyer told his followers he was ‘happily divorced’ and suggested that Palin was to blame for their split.

Meyer opened up on Instagram about his recent divorce and offered relationship advice to his followers, telling them to know when ‘enough is enough’
When asked by one follower for advice about going through a divorce, Meyer said: ‘Know when enough is enough’.
‘Take it one day at a time and focus on you. Everything is just a moment in time. You can try everything and give the person all you have and if they don’t choose to see good in you it’s out of your control,’ he said.
One follower asked bluntly why Meyer and Palin had divorced, to which he said: ‘She wasn’t happy with me so it’s for the best.’
When asked if he would one day remarry, Meyer said bluntly: ‘Hell no’.
He also posted a photo of his hand to prove he no longer wears his wedding ring.
His Q&A comes just days after his ex-wife engaged in a similar exchange with her Instagram fans during which she revealed they had finalized their divorce.

When asked by one follower if he would one day remarry, Meyer bluntly said: ‘Hell no’.
‘Are you dating,’ asked a fan, to which Palin replied: ‘Freshly divorced & single forever lezzbereal (I am not ready to date).’
The oldest of Sarah Palin’s three daughters later said that she does not see herself walking down the aisle again at this time.
Her frank and candid question-and-answer session came as Palin was busy filming the new season of Teen Mom.
Producers announced last month that Palin had joined the case of the popular reality series, and that she will earn a reported $250,000 for her first season on the program.
Meyer and Bristol were married in a private ceremony back in 2016, a little over a year after calling off their first wedding just days before the ceremony.
They have two daughters, Sailor and Atlee Bay. Bristol also has a 9-year-old son Tripp from her relationship with fiancee Levi Johnston.
