The 49-year-old’s death comes just days after a teenage boy went missing while surfing with his friends in Port Macquarie.

Bronson Rhodes, 14, disappeared in rough surf at Flynns Beach on the NSW mid-north coast, on Saturday afternoon.

Friends and family of the popular rugby player remembered the teen as a ‘brave young man with a huge heart’.
