Britain’s ‘best boss’ has once again gone out of her way to treat her staff – by throwing a summer beach party.

Arabella Lewis-Smith, 43, was given the title by workers at marketing agency Salad Creative after taking her 20 staff on an all expenses paid trip to Madrid for a three day Christmas party in 2017.

Now she has increased her popularity by putting on a summer day out on the idyllic Dorset coast.

After enjoying a pub lunch, the group made their way down to Knoll Beach in Studland for an afternoon picnic and game of cricket.

Employee Leanne Kent, 25, said: ‘It was a gorgeous day and it makes such a huge difference to us to get the opportunity to get to know each other better in this way.

‘I think in our eyes Arabella will always be Britain’s best boss!’

Ms Lewis-Smith, who founded the business based in Poole 18 years ago, said she wanted to reward her staff for their hard work.

Other recent outings have included a trip to a West End show, a kayaking trip and a walk in the New Forest.

She said: ‘By treating our staff to something special, we benefit from a happier and more satisfied team who feel valued and appreciated.

‘And it doesn’t take too much imagination to understand how this has a knock-on effect to productivity and staff retention for the business.

‘It was a great pleasure to see everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine.’
