British Airways is rolling out its brand new amenity kits for first class cabins on Sunday – and here we ‘unbox’ one, so you can see what goodies you get in return for a ticket costing thousands.

We can also offer a sneak peek of the new BA pyjamas and crockery that will be taking to the skies.

The bespoke amenity kit bags are by Temperley London. They feature its ‘star’ design and contain products by Elemis, including items from its ‘ultra smart pro-collagen’ range, which ‘adapt to individual needs to preserve and promote younger looking, luminous skin’.

MailOnline Travel was sent a ‘male’ bag, which contained the following Elemis products – ultra smart pro-collagen eye cream; ultra smart pro-collagen matrix moisturiser; a cleansing micellar facial wipe; skin soothe shave gel and hydra-nourish lip balm.

There was also a pen, with a ‘First’ logo, a toothbrush and Colgate toothpaste, some tissues, ear plugs, flight socks, a very soft eye mask and a black plastic comb.

The amenity bag itself is jet black, with a velvety finish.

The pyjamas – or ‘loungewear’, as BA says in its press release – are also by Temperley London.

BA claims that they are ‘super-soft’. And MailOnline Travel is able to confirm that this is indeed the case.

Our sample was a small cup and saucer, and a teaspoon.

It looks classy – and feels suitably delicate and elegant.
