A British man caught trying to smuggle cocaine into Belgium by hiding it in an artificial penis has been told he could face three years in prison.
The man was arrested in February when he arrived at Brussels airport on a flight from Jamaica.
He told investigators that he intended to use the cocaine for personal use once he returned home.

He initially failed a drugs test, with border agents detecting the presence of cocaine.
He was then taken to a nearby hospital for further examination, where officials found that he had put 127g of cocaine inside the fake penis, The New Zealand Herald reports.
Prosecutors could not prove the man – who said he was offered the drugs by an acquaintance while visiting his mother in Jamaica – was a ‘mule,’ but still asked for a 36-month sentence.

However defense attorneys argued a sentence of that length would be too severe because of the man’s health problems.
‘My client has kidney failure and needs to exercise as well as follow a proper diet,’ his lawyer said, according to the report.
The man is set to be sentenced on June 24.
