British music icon Cliff Richard to kick off Australian Can’t Stop Me Now tour in 2025

British music legend Cliff Richard is heading Down Under for a series of live concerts next year.

The 84-year-old pop icon will kick off the Australian leg of his Can’t Stop Me Now tour in Perth in November, 2025.

A series of gigs in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane are set to follow.

In a video shared to You Tube on Monday, the beloved singer announced the tour was in celebration of his 85th birthday.

Dressed in a grey jacket and white shirt with a zebra design, Richard looked excited as he announced his first visit to Australia in twelve years.

‘I’m delighted to announce I’m going to be on tour again in 2025 to celebrate my 80th birthday… oh, no that’s been done hasn’t it,’ he joked.

‘It’s my 85th birthday… look, you can’t stop me now,’ he added.

Richard, who scored his first chart topper in 1958, will begin his tour Down Under on November 1, 2025.

The Wired for Sound hit maker will then travel to Adelaide for a show on November 4 followed by two concerts in Melbourne on November 6 and 7.

Two more shows in Sydney at the State theatre follow on November 9 and 10 before he heads to Brisbane for a final gig on November 12.

The fan favourite, who was knighted in 1995 for his charitable work, has also scheduled four shows in New Zealand following his Australian gigs.

He has also planned a short U.K. tour ahead of Christmas 2025, including a show at London’s massive Royal Albert Hall.

Richard had more hits in the 80’s including Suddenly, a duet with Olivia Newton-John and the synth-pop classic Wired for Sound in 1981, which was a top 5 hit Down Under.

Tickets for Cliff Richard’s Can’t Stop Me Now Tour go on sale on Wednesday.
