The 41-year-old singer made her statement in the caption of a video that was shared on her Instagram account on Thursday afternoon, in which she included a shot that showed her spending time with the hitmakers.
In the photo, the Grammy Award-winning artist, whose estranged father is currently hospitalized with a ‘bad infection’, and the performers appeared to be in high spirits as they visited a restaurant in the Big Apple.
Spears seemed to have familiarized herself with J Balvin and Maluma after the meeting, as she tagged their accounts in her post.
The Toxic singer was also pictured with music manager Grace Archuleta, who accompanied her during the trip.

Gallery Books Senior Vice President and Publisher, Jennifer Bergstrom, issued a statement to the media outlet to express her enthusiasm for the project.
‘I have no doubt her memoir will…be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last,’ she stated.
According to TMZ, Spears has also recorded several portions of The Woman In Me’s audiobook.
However, the singer was said to have not narrated parts concerning her turbulent family life, as she found the task to have been particularly difficult.
It was also reported that Gallery Books reached out to Reese Witherspoon to record the portions that the singer looked over, although the performer was unavailable.
