Brittany Cartwright is seen for the FIRST time since serving Jax Taylor divorce papers as she films The Valley in LA

Brittany Cartwright has been seen in public for the first time since serving divorce papers to husband Jax Taylor. 

The reality star, 35, displayed her fit form as she filmed scenes for her reality TV show The Valley.

The Vanderpump Rules alum wore sage green animal print leggings with a matching bra top. She also had on a cream-toned bolero sweater cover up and tan Nike sneakers.

Her long highlighted locks were pulled back into a high ponytail and she appeared to be wearing camera-ready makeup behind her dark sunglasses.

Cartwright was also seen with her  castmate Michelle Lally.

The recently divorced realtor split from fellow cast member Jesse Lally in season one of the VPR spin-off.

She showcased her summer style in a white tank minidress with black trim.

The realtor’s hair was styled in loose layers and she too wore natural looking camera ready makeup. 

Sources familiar with the troubled Cartwright-Taylor marriage say it was the former waitress who ‘took the initiative and decided it was time to file’ for divorce after determining Taylor, 45,  had ‘done too many things for a reconciliation to occur.’

The couple met in 2015 and married in 2019. They share one child, Cruz, three, and Cartwright is seeking primary custody of the boy. 

Additionally, Cartwright is requesting that neither she nor Taylor be required to pay spousal support and that each be responsible for their own legal fees.

The Kentucky native wants all gifts she received during the marriage to be considered separate property, as well as any possessions she bought after the day of separation, which she listed as January 24. 

Both will return for season two for The Valley.

Cartwright has been making cryptic posts on social media in the aftermath of the split. ‘Getting my sparkle back. ✨’ she wrote on Instagram Wednesday, one day after Taylor was served. Another post read ‘Out with the old, in with the new’

Taylor spent part of the summer working on himself at a treatment program. ‘Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week,’ his rep said in a statement in July.

‘It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.’

Although she has yet to speak about the split publicly, Cartwright has been making cryptic posts on social media in the aftermath of the split.  ‘Getting my sparkle back. ✨’ she wrote next to a photo of herself wearing a pink dress on Instagram Wednesday, one day after Taylor was served.

A post from a few days before seemed to hint she was getting ready for a change. ‘Out with the old, in with the new,’ she penned.
