Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has been accepting offers and giving tours to potential buyers for his home amid the widespread rumors he will not return to Denver next season, according to Business Den.

Wilson and his wife Ciara paid $25 million for the home back in April of 2022 after he was traded to the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks.

At the time the purchase had set the record for the most expensive home sale in the Denver area which had previously been $16 million.

The home is 20,000-square-foot home on 5 acres has four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms to go along with his-and-hers walk-in closets, offices and bathroom suites according to a previous listing for the property.

There is also a 2,590-square-foot indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment with its own kitchen on the property as well.

Wilson has had a rough two seasons in Denver and according to ESPN’s Jeff Legwold ‘almost no one in the league,’ expects the 35-year-old QB to return to the Broncos.

The nine-time Pro Bowler had been benched during the final two games of the season due to what Broncos head coach Sean Payton referred to as a ‘football decision,’ although many speculated the move was to ensure Wilson did not get hurt due to the $37 million he would have been guaranteed for the 2025 season if he picked up an injury and could not pass a physical by the fifth day of the new league year this March.

Wilson himself claimed the team had given him an ultimatum to either adjust the guarantee or be sat for the remainder of the season shortly after he engineered a win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

‘They definitely told me I was going to be benched and all that,’ Wilson said. ‘That whole bye week I didn’t know what was going to be the case. I was going to be ready to play, I wanted to go to Buffalo and beat Buffalo [November 13]…

‘I wasn’t going to remove the injury guarantee, this game is such a physical game, I’ve played 12 years and all that.

‘I want to be able to play, I want to be able to help this team win. … I know every time I step on the field it’s a physical game. I never play timid; I never play scared.’

The 2013 Super Bowl Champion had signed a five-year, $242.6 million back in 2022 and was already guaranteed $39 million in 2024.
