A clumsy Bronx-based paralegal allegedly dropped a bag filled with crack cocaine and heroin as she walked into work at the borough’s District Attorney’s office, authorities said on Thursday.

Jennifer Monge, 27, is said to have accidentally dropped the drugs in the lobby of the DA’s East 161st office on Wednesday morning.

Police say that four large bags of crack, twenty small baggies of the same substance and 16 glass vials of heroin were sent hurtling to the floor as she fumbled her bag.

Monge was arrested the same day and appeared before a judge on two misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, police documents show.

The 27-year-old was freed without bail but is yet to address the charges against her publicly.

However, speaking to the New York Post, Monge’s father voiced his shock and anger at the allegations made against his daughter.

‘It hurts because I never raised her that way,’ Melvin Monge, from Long Island, told the outlet. ‘I gave her a good education here, and I break my back working her, and she chooses to do this? I don’t feel sorry for her.

‘She’s destroying her own life,’ Melvin continued. ‘I’m embarrassed because it’s my last name.’

Melvin said he last saw his daughter on Father’s day, and that she had recently applied to become a Pennsylvania state trooper – an application certain to be rejected now.

‘No way now,’ the disgruntled father said of his daughter’s chances at the job.

According to court documents, this is not the first time Monge has been arrested for drug offenses.

In January 2012, police in Queens reportedly observed a man hopping into Monge’s car having just purchased a sizable quantity of cocaine, heroin and marijuana.

When authorities attempted to pull her over, Monge allegedly drove away at speed, passing through several stop signs and red lights before eventually acquiescing the officers’ demands to stop her car.

She was arrested and charged with drug possession and reckless driving, though the outcome of the case is unknown at this time.

He latest alleged run in has been referred to a special prosecutor to avoid a conflict of interest if the Bronx District Attorney handled the case.

Monge was placed on administrative leave from the office, in the wake of her arrest.
