Brooke Burke mourns the loss of her younger brother Tommy, 44, in an emotional tribute: ‘I have no words today’

Brooke Burke is mourning the loss of her younger brother Tommy, who passed away at 44, just one day after his birthday on Monday.

While sharing the devastating news with her 453,000 Instagram followers, the former Dancing With The Stars co-host, 49, uploaded a slideshow full of memories with her sibling.

‘I have no words today [brokenhearted emoji] just Tommy Burke 7/19/1977 – 7/20/2021,’ she captioned the photos of them goofing around together.

The first black and white selfie showed them in a car staring at the camera, while another solo image featured him playing a ukulele.  

The duo appeared to have a close relationship and, according to her 21-year-old daughter Neriah Fisher’s Instagram, he was an incredible uncle. 

In response to her mom’s tribute, Neriah commented ‘heaven gained the coolest angel.’

Later, she paid homage to Tommy on her Instagram Story with two pictures and a loving message. 

‘Keep your loved ones close. Tell people how much you appreciate them,’ she captioned a shot of him throwing up a rock and roll sign.

She continued: ‘My heart is feeling extra heavy. I miss your hugs. You always have the best ones.’

Meanwhile, Neriah’s younger sister Sierra, 19, also paid tribute to her uncle, who she said encouraged them to ‘celebrate’ life and talent.

She also gushed he had the ‘kindest heart’ before writing: ‘Thank you for inspiring me to write music and for bringing love and hope to everyone around you.’

‘Time with you was a blessing. Love u uncle tommy. Till we meet again,’ the  teen concluded. 

Tommy’s cause of death has not been revealed at this time.
