  • Just after the deadly Monday fight, her brother, covered in blood and holding a knife, walks into a dollar store and tells the manager to call the cops
  • When police arrived, the brother surrendered himself to the police

Police arrested a Georgia man after they say a volatile fight with his teenage sister, ended with her being beaten to death, and him, covered in blood, surrendering to police.

A neighbor called 911 to report a domestic disturbance at the Dunwoody apartment complex around 3.20pm Monday and said the man and his sister were in a volatile fight.

They say they saw the teen going door-to-door looking for someone to help her.

Police responded within minutes of the call, but it was too late. The girl was already dead in a breezeway when they arrived, according to WBS Channel 2.

A brother’s fight with his teenage sister turned deadly at the Dunwoody apartment complex in Georgia (pictured). Cops say he beat her to death, and then turned himself in

Just a short while later, police received another call. This time from a nearby dollar store.

The store’s manager told Ch2, said a man walked in covered in blood and carrying a large knife.

‘He just told me, ”Can you call the cops?” I said, ‘Why?’ He said, ”There’s been an accident,” Shehab Faisal said. ‘He’s showing me blood on his hands and his T-shirt.’

The manager said once the police arrived, the man walked outside and surrendered himself.

Neither the brother or the sister have been identified.

It is unclear if the knife had any connection to the beating death of the sister.

The brother, sister and their mother, along with other relatives, lived in the apartment complex.

A medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.
