Police arrested three of Atkinson’s associates during the raid, and allegedly found a firearm, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The enforcer appeared on television in March, and revealed life in the gang he helped found – Brothers for Life – was ‘absolute s***’.

Atkinson helped start the gang after meeting Brothers for Life kingpin and convicted killer Bassam Hamzy when the pair were in prison segregation in 2006.

‘Goldie’, who has the nickname because of his 24-carat diamond-encrusted teeth, quickly went to work for the gang once he was released from jail.

‘It was a job at the end of the day and something that you like doing. It’s a bit easier to do than go into a job and working nine to five for something you don’t like doing,’ he said.

Atkinson told the program he was now a changed man and was in the process of removing his Brother For Life tattoos and his gold teeth.

'It's s***. It's absolute s***. One bloke sits there and gets rich, and all the rest are just soldiers,' said Atkinson (pictured in an earlier mugshot)
