Brothers Nate and Nick Diaz filmed SPARRING during Starbucks coffee run as the UFC legends prepare for Nate’s fight against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 this weekend… but a backstage fight has thrown the event into chaos

Nate Diaz and his brother, Nick, have been filmed sparring inside a Starbucks coffee shop ahead of Nate’s fight with Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC 279.
The current UFC fighter, 37, be seen swinging a couple of punches as his brother, 39, who has not fought since his TKO defeat to Robbie Lawler in September last year, gave him some advice on technique.
In attendance appears to be a few of Diaz’s entourage as one is wearing a ‘Team Diaz’ cap, who are watching on while getting themselves a cup of coffee.

The brother’s sparring session took place as the press conference for UFC 279 was cancelled
The sparring session took place after the press conference for UFC 279 was cancelled following several altercations between fighters and their teams at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The video poster, Chamatkar Sandhu said: ‘Following the fracas at the cancelled press conference Nick and Nate Diaz are grabbing a coffee in Starbucks and continue preparing for the Khamzat Chimaev fight.’
UFC president Dana White said that skirmishes were started by Chimaev and Kevin Holland before the event was cancelled, however according to White none of the fighters required medical attention.

It is not the first time the Diaz brothers have drawn attention to themselves in August, Nate filmed himself smoking weed in front of a USADA drug tester at his home in California.
The two long-time vegans are big advocates for cannabis and have regularly been spotted smoking it at press conferences such as the occasion Nate passed a joint to Nick during the during UFC 263 post-fight press conference.
Diaz will be in action on September 10 as he takes on Chimaev, however, he has recently insisted that he is doing the organisation a favour by taking the fight.

Speaking to ESPN, Diaz said: ‘They’re acting like I called for this fight, which I didn’t call for and don’t want and didn’t want and still don’t want it.
‘But I don’t give a f***, I’ll fight anybody. But, [the] pressure is on him, he better finish me, because he’s the next killer in town.
‘This fight isn’t even about this guy… it’s about ‘making’ this guy. And I’m like, ‘OK, you guys aren’t going to let me go?
‘Because I’m the best fighter here? And you’re not gonna let me go unless it’s off of somebody? I gotta make somebody for you? Well, alright, you’re welcome. Let’s make you.
