Brownlow Medal winner Patrick Cripps marries Monique Fontana in lavish ceremony in Western Australia

Patrick Cripps and his stunning fiancée Monique Fontana have married in a huge ceremony. 

The pair exchanged vows in front of 200 guests at a lavish venue in Cripps’ home state of Western Australia.

The couple married at Sandalford Winery in the Swan Valley on December 30 and both opted to wear white.

Patrick shared a photo of the pair sharing a kiss to his Instagram on Friday, which he captioned: ‘MR & MRS CRIPPS’. 

The bride looked stunning in an ethereal gown with loose sleeves and a low cut back. 

She wore her hair in an up do with a bun and soft curls falling around her face, and had dangling glittering strands hanging from the back of her gown.

Monique, 26, later changed into a flirty white crop top worn under a sheer blouse, along with a long skirt, to party with pals at the reception. 

Patrick meanwhile looked dapper in an off-white jacket and trousers with a crisp white dress shirt underneath.

The Carlton captain, 27, married his longtime partner Monique after a nine-month engagement. 

The 2022 Brownlow Medal winner revealed earlier this year that his upcoming wedding was making him more nervous than Brownlow night did.

After Patrick gave his speech, the couple posed proudly together as the footballer showed off his medal.

Cripps pipped bookmakers’ favourite Lachie Neale to the prestigious award by a single vote.

Patrick has served as Carlton co-captain since the 2019 season.

He’s a three-time John Nicholls medalist, and became the second-youngest player to win the award when he first won it back in 2015.
