Fans were quick to praise him in the comments.

‘The fact that you still played even after the fact that this happened makes you an absolute legend,’ one wrote in the comments.

‘and he balled out 2 days after this unfortunate accident…’ another said.

‘That man is the baddest human being in the NFL,’ another said on X.

Prior to the Browns’ Week 4 loss to the Ravens, Njoku was listed as questionable on the injury report.

According to The Athletic’s Diana Russini, the injury happened while Njoku was lighting a fire pit in his backyard.

But he assured fans he would be active for the Ravens game, writing on X beforehand, ‘The flesh is week. See u tomorrow #DawgPound.’

He then turned up to his game wearing a beige face mask, before warming up with a balaclava on.

Cleveland had a bye last week but will face the 49ers on Sunday.
