Miami Heat star Tyler Herro struggled to stay focused during a postgame interview on Tuesday night as a brawl in the stands grabbed his attention.
Following the Heat’s preseason win over the San Antonio Spurs, a fight broke out in one of the lower sections at Kaseya Center, as Herro spoke to Bally Sport Sun.
The sharpshooter showed impressive multitasking as he powered through the questions while tuning into the chaos behind one of the hoops. Herro would apologize for being distracted before wrapping up his answer.
‘Just continue to figure out what we can do to get ready for the season,’ Herro said. ‘Sorry, I’m distracted by a fight up there. This is crazy.’
Kelly Saco, who conducted the interview, looked on and said she hoped ‘that breaks up here soon’ before letting Herro head back to the locker room. Herro still looked on to the scene of the brawl as he walked away.

A video of the incident went viral on social media and showed a vicious scrap that lasted at least 30 seconds. Arena security and law enforcement then approached the scene to defuse the situation.
Three men were involved, throwing fists, as two of them appeared to be attacking the third. The three were also seen grabbing each other as one had his shirt ripped by the end of the clip.
A woman is also seen trying to get in on the action while a bystander continuously yells for them to stop throwing punches.
What started the massive brawl remains unclear.
Herro scored 14 points in the Heat’s 120-117 win. The team will begin their season at home next Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.
Miami lost in the first round of last season’s playoffs to eventual champions Boston after appearing in the NBA Finals against Denver in 2023. Nonetheless, the Heat have kept the same core of Herro, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo.
