Reality star and socialite Brynne Edelsten is pregnant with her first child.

The widow of late medical millionaire Geoffrey Edelsten announced the surprising news on Instagram on Friday.

Sharing a photo of her ultrasound, the 38-year-old wrote: ‘Miracles do happen & each is another day closer to meeting the love of my life.’

It’s unclear who the father of the unborn child is, but Brynne was last linked to boyfriend Brok Eastwood, who she met on Facebook.

In an interview with New Idea in March, Brynne said that she’d found ‘the one’ with Brok, and even revealed that they’d discussed plans to have children together.

‘When I was with Geoff, the doctors said maybe I can have kids, maybe I can’t. Brok told me: “I really hope you can have kids.” 

‘But at the same time, he said: “If you can’t that’s OK, too.” If it happens, it happens, and I would love that more than anything … but to have that support of Brok saying, “If we can’t I still love you” – well, that’s pretty frickin’ good,’ Brynne said at the time.

She made the shocking admission during her short stint on Channel Seven’s SAS Australia in September. 

‘People probably know me because of my relationship, my marriage to Geoff I was 25, he was 65, forty years difference,’ she explained.

‘It was a very lonely relationship. I went six years without sex. That’s not normal’.

In 2016, Brynne also revealed she never consummated her marriage to Geoffrey during their six years as husband and wife.

Those claims have remerged after the doctor’s death at age 78 earlier this year.

In a previously unpublished interview with The Herald Sun, she stated: ‘We never had a sexual relationship at all’.

Brynne, a fitness instructor from California, met Geoffrey, 40 years her senior, in October 2008.

The then-couple wed in a lavish ceremony at The Crown in Melbourne in 2009, that reportedly cost $3million. He was 66 and she was 26.

Geoffrey and Brynne’s relationship was captured in a short-loved reality TV show called Brynne: My Bedazzled Life from 2012 to 2014.

But the couple called it quits, separating in 2014 and finalising their divorce in April 2015.

Edelsten, who died in Melbourne aged 78 in June, was a brilliant but disgraced medical entrepreneur and one of Australia’s great self-publicists.
