Bryson DeChambeau already knows what his first moves would be if he ever exited the earth’s orbit.
The LIV Golf star joined president-elect Donald Trump and Elon Musk at the launch of sixth test flight of the SpaceX Starship rocket last week and made a cameo in Kai Trump’s YouTube vlog.
Standing next to the granddaughter of the future 47th President as they watched the rocket launch, the professional golfer shared his desire to make it into space and revealed what he would do if he ever did.
‘I want to do that so badly,’ DeChambeau declared gesturing to the launch pad off-camera. ‘I would literally cry for a good couple of hours being up there and looking at the earth.’
While the player’s first steps in space wouldn’t be so productive, DeChambeau did also reveal ambitious intentions for his own engineering experiments.
He told Kai the bright idea for an invention of his own, before explaining how it could improve her golf game.

‘I’ll design a rocketship golf club with boosters on the back so you increase your club head speed,’ he claimed, before adding, ‘Just for you.’
‘Just for me, yeah? I’m gonna need it. Wow that hurt,’ Kai quipped back, jokingly taking offense to DeChambeau’s suggestion that her club head speed could do with an improvement.
Last Wednesday, DeChambeau posted a video of his own from the launch, capturing his reaction as the rocket launched from the surface.

In the clip, the two-time US Open champion was in awe as he chanted: ‘Come on, baby.’
After DeChambeau’s opening chanting and clapping, the camera then turned to the rocket taking flight.
While the rocket got farther from the ground, the camera turned back to a close-up shot of DeChambeau gazing into the sky, his jaw moving in the opposite direction of the shuttle.
As DeChambeau’s jaw dropped, marveling at the sight of the launch, US President-elect Trump could be seen a few feet behind him, donning a Make America Great Again hat.

The pair’s relationship goes a long way as they frequently hit the golf course together with Trump going viral a couple of months before the election thanks to DeChambeau and a cameo on his YouTube channel.
Furthermore, DeChambeau was not only present at Trump’s Election Day party, but the soon-to-be 47th president called him onto the stage during his victory speech.
DeChambeau’s awe towards the feat is no surprise given his self-professed love for physics. His fascination led to the moniker ‘The Mad Scientist.’
His has become renowned for his scientific approach to the game of golf, making headlines earlier this year for his 3D-printed irons at The Masters in April.
He’s also known for soaking his golf balls in Epsom salt to make them spin properly and keeping his club shafts all the same length – 37.5 inches, which is the length of a traditional 7-iron.
