A senior sales executive faces jail for pinching a woman’s bottom after he and three friends blocked her on a London high street during a night out.

Oliver Mason, 31, spotted the woman as she made her way along Shoreditch High Street on her way home from work on March 31.

He and three friends blocked her path causing her to swerve out of their way, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

Rather than let her pass, Mason stepped back and squeezed her bottom.

The shocked woman quickly called the police who arrested Mason at the scene.

Mason was convicted by a jury of sexual assault after a one-day trial.

He works as a senior sales executive for telecoms giant BT, according to his Linkedin page.

But Mason could face a short spell behind bars for the ‘pretty unpleasant’ attack.

‘It is a violation of a person and that in itself is unpleasant,’ said Judge Grace Amakye.

Mason, from Offley in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, denied one count of sexual assault by touching but was convicted by the jury.

He was bailed ahead of sentence at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 22 November.
